“Maybe it's not my weekend, but it's going to be my year.”
Cait, a Vision Care Coordinator, was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. From a young age, Cait dreamed of becoming a marine biologist She finds joy in crocheting, reading books from #BookTok, and writing novels. Her favorite movie is The Farewell, and Peach Blossom Spring by Melissa Fu is her favorite book.
Cait studied at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, and holds a certificate in UX Design from Google. Her background in computer science has equipped her with problem-solving skills and the ability to approach challenges from multiple angles, which she applies in her current role.
What drew Cait to Valley Vision Optometry was the strong sense of community and the supportive work environment. She is enthusiastic about working with both patients and colleagues, finding great satisfaction in the daily interactions and the opportunity to make a difference.
Cait’s advice for new team members is to remain open-minded. Her transition from a retail background to optometry has been a challenging but rewarding journey. Her adaptability and enthusiasm for learning make her an asset to our team.
